DIY Summer Fun: Make Your Sundial

[ 0 ] August 14, 2015 |

Summer sunshine is in full force right now. We made this very simple yet effective sundial by placing a pencil in a ball of clay. Every hour, we marked the hour with a stone. This sundial goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We also enjoyed reading ‘How Do You Know What Time It Is?’ by Robert Wells. A fun book for ages 5 and up about how we used to tell time long ago using the sun and moon.IMG_1196
