Looking for some alternative music for your kids? Listen to The Sippy Cups from San Francisco. A friend of mine, who started discovering cool music long before either of us had any children, turned my kids on to this CD.

Music covers the Beatles to Syd Barrett to the Ramones. Some good songs to groove to. My boys were surprised the first time we heard this, when I was able to sing along with “I want to be elated”. The band was founded by parents of preschoolers. Rock on for a little peas, love and understanding…
