Go Green this Halloween! Take part in National Costume Swap Day on October 13th!

[ 0 ] September 26, 2012 |

Many kids wear their Halloween costume only once or long for new dress-up outfits for imaginative play. Swapping our old costumes for a new one without spending a dime saves money and is a great way to re-purpose costumes and reduce the amount of plastic and polyester tossed in the landfill.

In honor of National Costume Swap Day there are a number of local costume swaps planned in Rhode Island. Check the listings below for advance drop off days and times. Costumes should be clean and in good condition. Return to venue on October 13th and select a “new” costume for your child.

For a complete of swaps nationwide, visit the green halloween website.
