Cost: Free with museum admission.

Explore the traditional Japanese art of paper folding — a captivating combination of art, mathematics and engineering.  Try your hand at creasing and folding paper into simple shapes and objects and intricate designs.

Kids fold and crease paper to create whirligigs, design gliders and fashion other fabulous flying contraptions — then send them soaring!

Go Fly a Kite
Saturday, April 20 & Sunday, April 21

In celebration of National Kite Month, kids create paper kites and keep them flying high.
