Catherine Carr Kelly (CCK): North Andover, MA
Kidoinfo: How long have you been in Rhode Island?
CCK: 8 years.
Kidoinfo: What is your current state of mind?
CCK: In search of simplicity, excited about the possibilities and considering what comes next…
Kidoinfo: Who’s in your family?
CCK: My husband, Nathan, my son Torin (5 on April 28) and my daughter Grace, 8 years old. (Extended family: my kids have 24 cousins… not enough space to list them all here J)
Kidoinfo: What trait do you most admire about your family?
CCK: Our ability to talk and laugh and our inquisitiveness. My kids interest in everything!
Kidoinfo: What is your favorite thing to do?
CCK: Vacationing in Maine with my family and parents. Spending time swimming with my kids and watching the sunset from the dock.
Kidoinfo: Where is your favorite place to hang out?
CCK: Baker’s Beach in the late afternoon–eating clam fritters and playing in the surf.
Kidoinfo: Where would you most like to live?
CCK: I love Providence!
Kidoinfo: What do you like to do when you are not with your kids?
CCK: Attend theater, sitting at Deb’s bar at Chez Pascal with my husband, going out with friends to arts/cultural events in Providence.
Kidoinfo: What is the most overrated thing about parenthood?
CCK: That your kids will keep you in shape!
Kidoinfo: What is your most treasured possession?
CCK: My home.
Kidoinfo: What superpower would you most like to have?
Kidoinfo: Who is your favorite fictional mother or father?
CCK: Ursula from 1000 Years of Solitude.
