Academy Field

50 Rector St, East Greenwich, RI 02818

So named because it was once the athletic field for the old East Greenwich Academy, Academy Field hosts a number of a community events throughout the year, such as community concerts and the weekly farmers market.

Little League baseball and softball games are played here in the spring and the youth soccer league uses the field in the fall. There is also a playground and a basketball court.

Full Day: 8:30 a.m. - 3:25 p.m.*
*12:25p.m. dismissals on Fridays
CHILDREN IN THE PREPRIMARY CLASS MUST BE TOILET TRAINED


 
Roger Williams Park

Handicapped accessible - picnic tables, in-line skating, cross-country skiing, sledding, baseball fields, hiking, tennis courts, zoo, pony rides, “flying horses” carousel, mini-golf, kiddy go-boats, the Dalrymple Boathouse where you can rent paddle boats and mini speed boats, outdoor concerts, and festivals throughout the summer.
