The Audubon Society of Rhode Island has been offering nature day camps for over 30 years. We aim to provide campers, ages 3- 14, with opportunities to develop and understand the relationship between themselves and the natural world.
Year after year, children connect with nature and build a sense of respect and responsibility towards the environment through exciting hands-on learning experiences.
Audubon Summer Camps are conveniently located at three of our wildlife refuges (Bristol, Seekonk, Smithfield). These sites offer campers the opportunity to explore a variety of protected and carefully maintained wildlife habitats. These include woodland trails, fields, meadows, ponds, streams, salt marshes, and the rocky shore of Narragansett Bay. It’s the perfect environment for adventure, exploration, learning, and loads of fun!
Camp instructors are experienced environmental educators with training in education and natural sciences. Each camp has a low camper to staff ratio: a maximum of 15 campers per 2 staff.
A typical day begins at 9:00 a.m. Once everyone settles in, it’s time to head outside for habitat explorations, wildlife studies, hikes, and nature games. Other parts of the day include arts and crafts, special projects, animal visits, and more!

description: MUSCIAL THEATER CAMP. Challenging musical theatre training in a professional, engaging and rewarding atmosphere for young performers ages 5-18!
Courthouse Center for the Arts Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory offers the unique opportunity for gifted and talented young performers to challenge themselves to achieve new goals and learn new skills. Core classes include musical theatre, acting and dance. Key to the curriculum is the development of self-discipline, respect, and a commitment to excellence that will serve these young artists throughout their lives. The goal of this training is to allow students to enhance their individual performance potential while also developing a broad base of theatre experience and knowledge. Students participate in demanding singing, acting, dance and improvisation classes and attend guest artist workshops led by professional actors, directors and casting agents.
The Conservatory is divided into three companies, allowing each student to develop at their own pace and work on material that is appropriate for their age and skill level. Although age is used as a guideline, the talent, ability, and maturity demonstrated by the student at the auditions also plays a part in determining placement.
