Moses Brown PLUS has been in the camp business for 50 years. We offer day camping featuring traditional recreation camps, chess camps, and several sports camps for children ages 3-17. All camps are held on the beautiful Moses Brown campus in Providence, and include a special mixture of arts, music, computers, science, chess, swimming, and sports.

Music Together is an early childhood music and movement class for children birth-kindergarten and the adults who love them! Music Together is a wonderful nonformal program and is meant to teach families ways to have fun with music while learning tone and rhythm in an easygoing environment. The Theatre which is now called the Providence Performing Arts Center was opened as a Loew’s Movie Palace on October 6, 1928. It was designed by George and C.W. Rapp of Chicago, brothers who became renowned as one of the finest teams of theatre architects in America. The Loew’s philosophy was to sell tickets to theatres - not movies; this was the inspiration for building this opulent theatre which cost $2.5 million upon completion. On opening day, more than 14,000 people came to see Joe Stoves on the $90,000 Morgan organ and the film “Excess Baggage”. Wheeler Summer Camp is located on the 120 acre Wheeler Farm in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Our facilities include a 25 yard outdoor swimming pool, 8 athletic fields, 8 tennis courts, a high and low challenge ropes course, a running track and a field house with 3 full size basketball courts for daily and rainy day activities. Wheeler Summer Camp offers campers a healthy, fun, summertime experience while developing athletic, artistic, outdoor and social skills. By practicing these skills in a positive and nurturing environment, our campers experience the joy of personal growth and increased self- confidence.

The YMCA Out of School Time program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children have the opportunity to gain new skills and grow socially.
