I cannot imagine a more perfect environment for my daughter. The teachers are loving, experienced and very in-tune with the children. They fill each day with exploration, free-play, learning and fun. A heavy emphasis is placed on exploration and self-paced learning. Outdoor play is the rule rather than the exception. I am also a huge advocate for the cooperative model, and although it does require a greater time commitment than other preschool options, I feel that its a worthwhile investment. It allows my husband and I to have a view into her preschool experience (through duty days) but has also allowed us to meet a great group of parents. What a great place!

If you are not living in Providence, it is still very worth visiting Child's Play as families are on their preschool search. It is a wonderful program and now my second child wishes she could go to school every day! How nice is that!!

Over the course of the past three years, I have grown to love this school as "a home away from home." My son, now a preschooler, can't wait to get to school each morning for fear of possibly missing out on some fun. The teachers are very talented and seem in tune with the needs of each and every student. It has been a thrill to witness the benefits of the Play Model first-hand as a Duty Parent. The dynamic mix of families that this Co-Op attracts is refreshing.

Terrific school! Teachers are wonderful with the kids. The curriculum is play based and very child focused. The co-op is a big plus with parents very involved in the school. Wish we could stay here longer...

Our family loved this school-it was a very creative, nurturing environment for our boys. They loved their teachers and being part of the school community. Being part of a coop was a great way to meet other families and I got to know all the other kids in their school as well during my time in the classroom. Makes it easy to arrange playdates and childcare swaps at a young age because everyone feels like family.
