Dear Parents,

I have a Master’s in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Montessori Education from Loyola College of Baltimore and both my Infancy and Primary Montessori teaching certificates from the Montessori Institute of San Diego. I also am pursuing a Children’s Book Illustration Certificate from RISD. I have over a decade of experience working with a myriad of children and families world wide. My joy and purpose is teaching children creative and fun ways of learning whether it is through Montessori materials, art, storytelling or imaginative movement.

Over the years I have dreamed of opening a Montessori school that prioritizes Montessori’s original intention of inspiring children to become the future peacemakers of our world. Although it is my goal to open a Montessori school in the near future, to start, I would like to offer a small, Montessori pre-primary program for children who are toilet trained or ages 3.5-4 years. I am hoping to start late September and follow the Providence Public School Calendar, running the program: Sept-June; Monday through Friday; 8:30-3:30 with optional half day mornings and afternoons. As well as observing the same breaks and holidays.

What I need is your feedback stating your needs so that I can provide exceptional educational and child care services for you and your family. For example, tuition rates, hours and expectations of curriculum. I am planning an open house potentially in August and will post more details as they are clarified. I have blue prints of the facility which includes eco-friendly building materials and a safe, fenced in yard with play structure.

My mission at East Side Montessori is to encourage children to discover their potential as peacemakers in a Montessori environment that nurtures their spirit and inspires intellectual exploration through creative and artistic activities.
