The Montessori of Greenwich Bay Program is a wonderfully warm and welcoming small community in which children are nurtured and respected during their exploration of the exceptional materials in the classroom. The director’s sensitivity to each child’s experience and feelings is exceptional. FIVE STARS!

Montessori of Greenwich Bay is such a great program! The preschool has a very well thought out curriculum - the classroom environment is visually interesting, and the atmosphere encourages individualized learning. The program has been a wonderful experience for us!

Lynne Way of Montessori of Greenwich Bay is a remarkable director/teacher. My daughter graduated from Montessori in ‘08 and has done exceptionally well in Kindergarten. I attribute her independence and confidence to Montessori of Greenwich Bay. My son is attending this year and is doing fabulous. We love this school.

Montessori of Greenwich Bay has been a real find for my family. My 2 very different sons have both benefited tremendously from Lynne Way’s creative, thoughtful program. In his first year, my older, hesitant, child emerged from his shyness to develop strong communication and social skills. In his Kindergarten year, he especially loved the advanced math materials that supplemented his public school program. My high energy, social, younger son has loved Montessori of Greenwich Bay from the day he started at age 2. He has grown tremendously in the program: learning to follow through on the work he chooses, work independently, problem solve, and most importantly, develop positive relationships with his classmates. The beautiful classroom and state-of-the art materials all complement Lynne Way’s gentle, professional approach. The result of her careful efforts is a calm, peaceful environment where children respect each other and their learning community. 5 stars!!

I am thrilled with this school and, the progress my son is making there. I enrolled my son in MGB in the spring after an exhaustive search of centers from Cranston to Wakefield. I chose this one for several reasons: the size, the personal attention and the toddler teacher’s incredible ability to sense each child’s needs. Since starting, my son’s language development has skyrocketed, his fine and gross motor skills have blossomed, and his curiosity about the world around him has been honored and reinforced. I am impressed by the projects and activites that they do in the toddler classroom.
