My kids love collecting beach glass, and this beach is perfect for young collectors. The trash on the beach is a shame. It did, however, create a great teaching opportunity. We talked about littering and even returned another day armed with gloves and garbage bags. We removed several bags of trash and felt wonderful doing so!

We live up the road in Riverside and this park is our favorite for our 3 year old. We have brought anyone with kids who has come to visit us from out of state here (we have only been in RI 5 years). it’s our own “beachfront playground” a three minute drive from our house. there is also a boat launch with a dock you can walk out (and wabble) on and there are usually people fishing as well. Just watch out for the glass on the beach, which is a shame.
