For some real old Chatham places to go:
- Larry’s PX (on 28 near road to Harding’s Beach): get there early for no wait, and ask for a grilled muffin, mmmm.
- Schoolhouse Ice Cream (corner of 28 & 137): good ice cream and a good deal, free jimmies
- The Mayflower(main st. downtown): small but good selection of toys and lots newspapers and magazines available
Ben Franklin (main st. downtown): an old fashioned variety store, with a little bit of everything.

There is a great health food store on Rt 28 in Chatham that may have some recommendations. http://www.capecodnaturalmarkets.com/
Also try Luscious Louies on Rt. 28 for casual food/bakery.

Museum of Natural History is a great place to visit.
