Orlo’s Extreme Family Day will be a special live presentation by two professional bike riders Mike Steidly and our own local athlete Kevin Robinson. Along with these two awesome shows the event will offer fingerprinting, face painting, local vendors, refreshments and the Dave and Busters Street Team will be on hand for the kids to win some great prizes. It will be a great afternoon of family fun and for a good cause.

The first show will be put on by Mike Steidly . Following him will be the intermission show which will be performance by the Orlo Avenue School’s Chorus. The finale will be put on by East Providence’s own Kevin Robinson.

Mike Steidley is one of the most accomplished and prolific Stunt Riders in North America. Steidley’s accolades include multiple Trials National Championships, representing the USA in 7 World Championships, a wide array of T.V. appearances including MTV and performing his Mountain Bike Stunt Show in 23 different countries to showcase his captivating skills to thousands.

Kevin Robinson is from East Providence, RI. He began riding BMX at age 10, and turned professional at age 19. Kevin has achieved everything there is to accomplish in his sport. He has 9 X Games Medals, including 5 Gold Medals. He has been awarded ‘Athlete of the X Games’, a highly coveted honor. In June 2008, Kevin broke the World Height Record soaring 54 feet in the air over Central Park, NY, becoming the only man ever to fly that high on a BMX bicycle. Kevin continues to compete and push the progression of his sport. When not competing, Kevin spends his time encouraging those young and old to pursue their dreams and treat others with kindness.
