A winter walk on Neutaconkanut Hill! Meet at the recreation center parking lot at 675 Plainfield Street in Providene. This will be a guided walk by Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy board members: climb to the summit of the hill and walk the wooded trails. View the newly re-graded ski run and sledding slopes. The hill is also home to deer, wild turkeys, fox, hawks and multitudes of small animals. Neutaconkanut Hill is the northwest boundry in the agreement between Roger Williams & the Narragansett Indian Sachems which became our City and State. Dress for winter weather and hiking in woods.
