My eight year old watches stop-motion animation films on Youtube that people make with Lego minifigures. Many of these are Weird Al Yankovic music video tributes. Very inspirational! Until...he asks, "Why is there a movie of a woman taking off her bra? Why would I want to see that?" Please forgive me!

Its a challenge in our house for sure. My boys only get wii time on the weekends and only in 30minute blocks. During the week they can only play educational ipad apps (20min blocks, with an adult around, after rooms are cleaned and homework is done). Its not a perfect solution, and my 5yo seriously resembles a crack addict when wii is involved.
