Keep supplies organized in style

Kreatelier pencil case My kids love to take their art supplies wherever they go (as do I)—in the car, on vacation, or even to the park. Keeping all the markers and pencils together is important (and having them visible is helpful). This colorful canvas case handmade by Kreatelier, a Providence-based company, is both practical and stylish. It is designed with individual pockets to neatly store ten pencils and a small notebook, a built-in flap that folds over to keep contents securely in place—roll it up, tie it closed—and it easily fits in a book bag or purse.

Kreatelier was established in 2007 by two European friends, Pernilla Frazier and Line Daems. The women met as parents at the French American School of Rhode Island. They complement each other’s talents well, bringing their sense of style, eye for color, and attention to detail to all the products they make, including quilts, storage cases (including art supplies, first aid, and knitting), headbands, car organizers, reusable gift wraps, and more.

Keratelier is relocating their studio this fall and opening a retail space on Hope Street. They will be a welcome addition to the Summit neighborhood in Providence, nestled among Frog and Toad, Studio Hop, and Seven Stars Bakery.

Details:
Large pencil case (pictured above) opens up to 15” x 12”. Rolls up for storage. Washable. $16.

  2. I would have loved this when I was kid – hold up, I would still love this! I have this love for art (and I am not even good at it) but I like when art supplies are in these nice, classy cases that make them even more intriguing than they already are! I wish I was closer to Providence so I could check out the whole store.. guess the online version will have to do.
