LES PETITS FRANCAIS – Speaking French while Playing!
We are a group of Francophone families who wish to invite other French-speaking families to join our social group to encourage their children to speak French. The mission of our group, Les Petits Français, is to help our children become fluent in French through play and social activities and to develop friendships between our families.
What follows is a list of some of the activities our group has, so far, scheduled:
- For children: Arts & crafts activities centered around various themes; cooking activities; visits to children’s museums and zoos; movies; celebration of Holidays, such as, Galette des Rois (Three Kings), Chandeleur (Candlemas), Mardi Gras; nature walk in regional parks.
- For adults: Movie nights, restaurant nights, theme nights, and “apéritifs” (Happy Hour).

a really nice group of people, simple and easy to get along with. my son always enjoys the activities we are doing with the group.
and what I like the most is the freedom of taking only part to the event I am interested into.
A wonderful idea to combine outdoor or indoor activities for the whole family with practicing French.
The choices of outings are plentiful so there’s something for everybody. Meeting with other people form my home country is a plus !
