The TSETSE Gallery is implementing an awesome Bullying Prevention Campaign by hosting a poetry contest open to students around Rhode Island starting at grade 3 all the way up to age 23. The poetry theme is insertion stories and problem solving poems related to bully prevention. The winning poems will then be turned into music that will be performed at a HUGE music festival this summer.
Poetry Topic: Inspirational Poems relating to the Elimination of Bullying & Negative Confrontation.
There Â are Â four Â academic Â categories: Â Elementary Â Grades Â 3-5, Â Middle Â School Â Grades Â 6-Ââ€8, Â High Â School Â and Â Post Â High Â School up Â to Â 23 Â years Â old.
Each Â category Â qualifies Â for Â one Â award Â from Â each Â prize Â indicated Â above.
Poem Â must Â be Â no Â more Â than Â five Â hundred Â words Â in Â length Â and Â are Â only Â accepted Â via Â email Â to Â firstname.lastname@example.org. Â Only Â one Â entry Â per Â person.Â Please Â include Â a Â cover Â letter Â with Â name, Â mailing Â address, Â telephone, Â e-Ââ€mail Â and Â academic Â level.

Â The Â winning Â poems/ Â songs Â will Â be Â performed Â at Â the Â opening Â event. Â All Â winning Â poems Â and Â songs Â will Â be Â transposed Â onto Â a Â CD/ Â DVD Â Â and/or Â Â iTunes Â download, Â crediting Â poets Â and Â performers. Â Â 100% Â of Â profits Â from Â this Â project Â will Â be Â placed Â into Â a Â fund Â for Â bullying Â prevention. Â Releases Â will Â be Â required.
