Say hello to Micki Whelan

[ 2 ] November 17, 2008 |

MickiwhelanI welcome Micki Whelan as the new account executive at Kidoinfo.com. She will be the new go-to person for advertising and sponsorship opportunities on the website and newsletter. Micki and I worked together for over five years as co-directors of the Providence Craft Show — a venue we created to bring together juried artists from all over the country to sell their handmade work in Providence. Micki and I believed that forming partnerships within the community makes good sense so we worked with the city, the tourism council, local area restaurants and hotels, and the RISD museum to make the Craft Show a complete arts destination weekend.

In the same spirit, my mission for Kidoinfo has always been to create a central, inviting space for family-oriented businesses, services, and information. As parents we always seem to be juggling responsibilities and commitments, and we welcome ways to make our days a little easier while nurturing our children’s creative well-being. To that end, Kidoinfo provides useful resources and creative ideas for parents locally in Rhode Island and beyond.

You can reach Micki Whelan at Micki (at) kidoinfo (dot) com. She is looking forward to meeting and expanding the Kidoinfo community.
