Janice O’Donnell, former Executive Director of Providence Children’s Museum
is directing the PlayCorps program. They are training and deploying teams of play facilitators in low-income neighborhood parks throughout the city to activate the parks with free play and creative exploration. They piloted this program last summer and it was an amazing success.  Janice says. “Wonderful to see the kids – who might otherwise have been stuck inside and in front of screens – creating and playing with cardboard box “forts”, tire swings, super hero costumes and much much more.”
