In honor of World Elephant Day, take a tour of the Zoo’s Elephant Pavilion! Ever wonder how an elephant takes a bath, does her nails, or checks her weight? Hear from the animal keepers who work with Alice, Ginny, and Kate at four different locations throughout the pavilion.
Each 20-minute tour of the Textron Elephant Pavilion is on a first-come, first-served basis, and provides a behind-the-scenes look at the care elephants receive. Keepers will discuss their interactions with the elephants and answer your questions.
PLEASE NOTE: There are no animal interactions on the tour. The elephants will be outside in the Ivory Ella Elephant Yard, where you can visit them before and after your tour!
Textron Elephant Pavilion tours are FREE for Roger Williams Park Zoo members, and included with the price of regular Zoo admission.
