Family Matters: Making sandcastles, daytrips and more…

[ 0 ] July 15, 2024 |

One of the joys of living in Rhode Island is that real explorations are a short drive away… perfect for kidos. Here’s how to take advantage of our bounty.

Kido Tip 1. Build the biggest sandcastle, ever.

It’s summer. And making sand castles is one of our favorite activities at the beach. The design of our sand structures usually depends on the beach, tide, seaweed or sand consistency. We keep our car stocked with buckets and shovels and usually walk the beach to find seeweed and shells. Not sure we will be building a sandcastle this big this weekend but it’s fun to dream isn’t it?
