Workshop Description

Organizing for many of us is difficult. It is easy to get overwhelmed by clutter and decisions about what to keep and what to throw away/give away/donate or save for later years. Or where to even start when the room is just THAT messy. This workshop provides ideas and strategies for managing home organizing with the understanding that one way may not work for another and that one size does not fit all. And that there are solutions for all of us.

Betsy Alper, LISCW, is a clinical social worker with more than 25 years of experience working with children, families, and adults. Through her professional work and personal experiences, she has discovered that one size does not fit all when it comes to helping families affected by ADD/ADHD. Success occurs when families and individual work with tools that fit their unique needs. From this realization, her company A.D.D. Strategies and Solutions was born. Betsy is also a RITES board member and a key supporter in helping it accomplish its goals of supporting the community.

RITES helps students of all ages – from kindergarten to high school to adults – with personalized, 1-to-1 tutoring to achieve lifelong success. RITES tutors are certified experienced teachers with typically a minimum of 10 years of classroom experience. RITES helps students and their families relieve anxiety, fear, and stress triggered by diagnosed and unknown learning challenges, such as Dyslexia, ADHD, NLD, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, High-Functioning Asperger’s, etc. RITES also offers enrichment and skill-building for high-achieving students.
