The Empowerment Factory is pleased to announce that we will be providing two free Art in the Park Sessions on Saturday, September 12th!
The Free Art Workshops are offered by The Empowerment Factory (TEF) and the Rhode Island Department of Education for school age children grades 3-5. These in-person workshops are being held on Saturday, September 12th at Fairlawn Veterans Memorial Park in Pawtucket (271 Smithfield Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
Each participant will get a Creativity Kit that includes a book, blanket, and art supplies that they can take home with them after the workshop. We will start each workshop with our mindful moments, followed by reading a book and an art activity.
Create & display! Kids will be creating an assortment of metal flower jewelry that will be displayed for the public through an art installation set up by TEF during the Healthy Living Community Adventure!
First Session –
