On May 22, at 11 am via Zoom, PCM’s May Cultural Connections will explore traditional and contemporary growing practices of Indigenous communities in Rhode Island. Haffenreffer Museum Community Engagement Specialist, Leah Hopkins (Narragansett Tribe), will share cultural influences, introduce vocabulary, and explore our shared relationships with nature. Cultural Connections is made possible by Institute of Museum and Library Services.
This event will be held via Zoom. Registration is required. Each family will get a free Gardener Kit w/ items to help follow along at home!
