Join Kidoinfo: Caroling on the West Side of Providence!

caroling-family-webKidoinfo is teaming up with Connect Providence, Leadership Rhode Island, Rhody Food Tours, and the West Broadway Neighborhood Association this season to have some family fun and spread some holiday cheer.

Bring the kids and join us as we joyfully carol through historic streets surrounded by beautiful Victorian architecture in Providence’s Armory District on Sunday, December 20, 2009. Everyone is welcome regardless of religious or non-religious beliefs. 2009 has been such a tough year for so many. Help us spread some end-of-the-year joy through song.

We’re pleased to carol in the snow and cold, but won’t venture out in rain. A rainy Sunday night will keep us indoors at Loie Fuller’s for drinks and songs around the fireplace. Either way, we’ll experience much fun and merrymaking.

The Details:

Holiday Caroling

5:00 – 6:00 PM: Meet us at Loie Fuller‘s restaurant (1455 Westminster Street) and enjoy some complimentary food before we head out to carol.
6:00 – 8:00 PM: Neighborhood Caroling. We have planned stops with neighbors along the way for warm drinks and bathroom breaks.
8:00 PM: Caroling ends at Leadership Rhode Island headquarters (1570 Westminster Street), one block from Loie Fuller’s (the original starting point). Stay and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate.

AGES: All ages.
COST: FREE.

Want to lead the carolers? There will be a rehearsal on Thursday, Dec. 17th from 6-8pm for those individuals who consider themselves strong singers. Those interested should contact Mike Ritz directly at mike@connectprovidence.org.
