Kidoinfo.com’s response to the evolving Coronavirus concerns

Letter from the Publisher to Kidoinfo’s readers

Kidoinfo.com takes the threat of the Coronavirus very seriously. Due to an abundance of caution we do not feel it is appropriate at this time to urge you to go places with your children. To this end, we have suspended adding new events to our Calendar until July 1, 2020, at which time we will assess the evolving situation.

The public is still welcome to put their events on the calendar using the “Post Your Event” green button and we will approve events added to the calendar as long as they meet our editorial guidelines.

In addition, our weekly newsletter will not suggest places to go but instead, contain information about things to do at home and websites you can use for this purpose. We will assess the newsletter on a weekly basis to determine when we can go back to offering our Kidopicks of things to do outside the house.

To our advertisers: We take seriously your need to reach parents and all ads will remain on the website and still be seen by readers as they use Kidoinfo.com as a place to find in-home activities and news.

To help our readers deal with being home for a period of time with children, we will be publishing articles on things to do with kids at home and listing other websites that provide in-home activities. We hope that this will make the time go more easily and keep the little ones as entertained and educated as possible.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
