Kidoinfo readers bowl for free!

One of the perks of being a Kidoinfo reader is you learn about all kinds of cool things for kids. For example, did you know National Bowling Week is August 23-30. 2008? Bowling is fun for children–from the shiny balls, the fancy shoes, the scoreboard and watching the pins get reset–there is something for everyone. And to help celebrate this national event locally, Kidoinfo has teamed up with the Bowling Academy in East Providence to offer FREE bowling and shoe rental all week to the Kidoinfo community. Yes FREE. Just mention you are a Kidoinfo reader, fill out a registration form with your email address at the Bowling Academy and you are good to bowl. Your savings is $3.95/game and $3.00/shoe rental per child.

The Bowling Academy features duckpin bowling which is ideal for children and their little hands. The ball is no larger than five inches and 3 lbs 12 oz in weight, while the pins stand just over 9 inches tall. So plan to bring your kids and your friends and your friends’ kids to the Bowling Academy during National Bowling week. Special activities are planned such as games, competitions, and the infamous “Rock and Bowl”–when the lights go out, the black lights turn on and the music rocks.

Visit the bowling Academy on August 30 and your kids can help set a new World Record for the most number of games bowled in one day. Children will receive a certificate for participating in the event on August 30.
