Throughout July, The Empowerment Factory and MobileQuest Adventures will be offering low-cost classes for grades K-8 focusing on “STEAM,” which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
You can go to one night, two nights, or all five. Classes are $15 each or $60 for the entire series which occurs on Tuesday nights from 6 – 8 pm, starting July 10. Purchase tickets here. There is also a Facebook page for the event where you can purchase tickets.
Classes take place at The Empowerment Factory, 999 Main Street, #707, Pawtucket, which is in the Hope Artists Village. Enter the red brick building (on the right as you look at the buildings) from the road and look for the door with 707 on it. Here are the classes:
- July 10 – Coding with Dash and Dot
- July 17 – Green Screen – The Magic of Movie Making
- July 24 – Circuits and Electricity
- July 31 – Silly Science
- August 7 – Art in Motion
