I would like to announce our second cool giveaway at Kidoinfo. This month (May 15-June 15, 2007), you can enter to win a copy of Dan Zanes’ 2007 Grammy Award-winning CD, Catch that Train!, a FirstWorksKids Festival poster autographed by Dan Zanes, and four FREE priority seating passes to his 4pm performance at the all-free FirstWorksKids Festival, Saturday, June 16.

Dan Zanes
Haven’t heard of Dan Zanes? Billed as the Grammy Award-winning rock star for the under-10 set, Dan Zanes is the former lead singer of the 1980s rock band the Del Fuegos. Zanes blends a variety of music styles and jams with other great musicians to create music for people of all ages. He is often seen on children’s television, with appearances on Sesame Street, Noggin, and Playhouse Disney. We know the Dan Zanes concert will be popular, and there is limited seating for this event. Winning the priority tickets guarantees you and your kids will see the show! Right after the 4pm concert, Zanes will lead a rollicking Pick-Up Parade to Waterplace Park for the Festival’s Family Fiesta Finale concert with Puerto Rico’s Guarayson and Providence’s own Lydia Perez. All are welcome to join the fun.

FirstWorksKids is a free international children’s arts festival, bringing five stages of entertainment from the four corners of the world to downtown Providence, Rhode Island. Come for an hour or stay the whole afternoon (1-7:30pm) and enjoy music, performances, hands-on workshops, a parade, and more! Not only is this lineup of performers truly amazing, but this event is FREE for everyone!

Every month Kidoinfo partners with different businesses to bring you valuable prizes from some of your favorite spots around town or introduce you to something new!
