Thank you to all of the readers who chose Kidoinfo as their favorite local blog in the Parents’ Picks Awards 2009. When Kidoinfo receives recognition, I am humbled and gratified that so many find the site useful and relevant, reaffirming Kidoinfo’s mission to connect parents with their local community. Thanks to all the parents, readers and contributors for sharing information, local news, cool ideas and time with Kidoinfo every day. You all help make the site what it is and show there is a great deal happening for families in Rhode Island.

The Creative Capital web site officially launched and Kidoinfo was part of a select group of local Providence businesses profiled under Art & Culture and Entrepreneurs.

Testimonial for Kidoinfo as a powerful media tool
Here’s proof that parents are reading Kidoinfo to find local events to attend with their kids. One small business recently emailed me to ask that I stop posting one of their annual events on Kidoinfo because their small space could not accommodate the growing number of  people the event was attracting. The business said they used to have about a dozen kids; now attendance had grown to over a 100 kids plus parents and grandparents.Wow!

  3. I am so happy about all of this! Way to go…what would we do without this site? When I meet a new parent I always say “You’ve gone to KidoInfo right?”
