Paint your own pottery, hand building clay classes for kids, workshops, Ladies Night, birthday parties, and more. There are also several summer programs available at Weird Girl Creations. The hours of operation are Sunday through Friday 1pm to 5pm and Saturdays from 11am-5pm or by appointment.
We also run FAB (for anything but alcohol or drugs) and provide activities for all ages. We have run non alcohol events at a number of college campuses and continue to create the FAB tile murals which decorate public space while sending the message that teens can have a full, rich social life without drugs or alcohol. Drop in anytime to paint a tile to be added to the murals. There is no cost, donations are always welcome.
Summer Art Workshops/Camp
Draw, Paint, Glaze, and Work with clay! Children will create two hand-built projects and create one on the potters wheel! Children will explore a variety of hand building and glazing techniques. Projects are fun and age appropriate. We will offer more challenging projects to accommodate returning campers! Drawing, caricature, collages, and/or watercolor projects as well are offered in the extended day program. Every day we paint on fired pottery. Each child will paint a mug, a bowl, a plate, and 1 free choice pick from the small figures or another functional piece of pottery. This is in addition to the 3 clay projects.
Monday - Friday. 10 am - 1 pm. (Ages 3 and older)

I have been to Weird Girls in the past and made great Mother’s Day gifts with my daughter. I recently went to a birthday party for a 4 year old - or at least tried to go. My daughter wanted me to stay in the front of the store and not leave, and I was told that I was not allowed. If your child wold not stay without you, you and your child had no choice but to not remain at the party. The owner said that it dstracted from the children. I would have understood if it was a fire hazard to have so many people in such a small space, but that was not the case. It was quite dissapointing for myself and my child. That is not a very child friendly thing to do.

I was recently at a party for youngsters and have to say that the staff did a great job of getting 25 little kids painting. I have to disagree with the review above… Our children are of pre-school age and we were informed on the invite that this was a drop off, pic-up party. Many parents walked two doors down from the facility to the deli and had coffee during the party. When I came to pick up, my child was completely unaware that I was waiting. They seemed to be very busy and excited. This place seems very well run. The staff was very accommodating and great with the children. I will be back with my children to paint for Father’s Day!

I came in very last minute this week to paint a wedding gift with my 3 year old daughter. The owner was so nice and helpful and not only that, but the gift was ready in three days so I could bring it to the wedding this weekend. Kyla and Meg were really helpful with the hand prints and helped me a lot when I needed advise choosing color. This place is GREAT!

AWESOME!! So many great things in there. I came in just to paint with my nephews and I left with earrings and I ordered a custom wedding platter. Very fun, great work.

I had my twin girls party there a few weeks ago. Meg was nice enough to give me a party plate for free so the girls wouldn’t have to share the included party plate. We had a “unicorn” theme. The “Weird Girls” ordered the unicorn figures on advance. They helped the other girls draw unicorns on their plates and tiles. The finished products were great. No need for goodie bags. My wife and I were able to relax while the girls painted. The owners were really nice- related I think? Very knowledgable and helpful. Lots of examples around- Very fun place! Thanks a lot!

My three daughters, ages 19, 16 and 12, have been going to weirdgirl since they were toddlers. After attending what seems like hundreds of parties at the studio, i have to strongly disagree with the above comment! kids are dropped off just as they are for school! This is a toddler, kid, teen, and adult friendly activity that through the years has never failed to bring our family and our friends closer :) i would highly recommend this activity! And i have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff- family run, friendly, efficient, you name it!
keep up the good work weirdgirl! thanks!

I have been to Weirdgirl Pottery with my children to multiple parties over the past 10 years. I am always happy to get an hour to myself and my child enjoys making their project without my dictating what to do and how to paint. My children continue to be thrilled when they are invited to a party at Weirdgirl. I continue to recommend Weirdgirl to all my friends. It’s a great place for a party!

Great place, we have been to others but this studio has a huge selection of pottery, we made fathers day gifts. I have no artistic ability so the staff added writing/names/date and designs free of charge. I picked everything up today and was amazed. My sons were thrilled and my husband loved his gifts! I will be back for adult night out to paint some pottery myself!

My kids just finished a summer camp workshop 2 weeks ago and we just picked up our projects. They are amazing! This is our second year attending and it was the only camp that they ASKED to go to! They are already talking about next week when they will go back again. I have honestly tried RISD and Wheeler camps in the past, not to name drop, but this camp is by far the best quality project camp my children have ever attended. I wish I could show everyone what they made! Maybe I”ll put it up on utube! Try this camp, you will LOVE it!

My kids just finished a week of summer art camp and I have to say it was great. They have already asked to go back again this year. I picked up the art today, created about 2 weeks ago, beautiful and usable! Best value and quality instruction as well as fun as my kids have told me. I don’t usually write reviews, only when I am annoyed or dissatisfied. This was such a positive experience I felt compelled to note the positive! Cam

We had OK experiences with the staff, but the owner is just a miserable and unprofessional person to deal with. Twice when I was there with my two year old, I had to chase the owner down for colors, and have her come out with the next color with her lunch in her hand (one time) and on the phone (another time) The reason for THIS review is we had two pieces of pottery that we forgot to pick up. I received a voicemail saying that if I did not pick them up by Friday, they would be thrown out. When I went to pick up the pieces on Friday, the shop was “unexpectedly closed” to assist an artist. When I finally reached the owner on the phone, she said that I had one week to pick up my pottery and it had been thrown out. There is no mention of this policy on the receipt, and when I asked her why I received the message, she said, “Well, I have your pieces but they should have been thrown out.” I asked her to ship them, and she asked me to call her back with my credit card number because she was busy. I am not sure if she gets that customer satisfaction makes a business like hers run, but I am warning all parents out there that it is difficult enough to deal with a toddler, paint and pottery. Having to deal with the owner makes this a pass.

Love this Place! The owner was lovely! I had read the above post and was a little afraid but so many people had said so many nice things that I just had to take my kids in for a try myself! I must admit the place was really busy so I thought we might not get much attention, but Meg (the owner) and her daughters and co-owners made the experience great! I just picked up what we painted and honestly it looks so much better than I ever imagined! I usually don’t write reviews but felt I needed to write when I am happy with something for a change! Signed my kids up for summer camp as well! We will be back for mother’s day and father’s day gifts! Such a great place we LOVE it : )

Wonderful studio, have been going for years and as my children get older it is even more fun! I actually have time to paint something myself without supervising everyone else. Best Christmas ornaments in the world! We make them for gifts and to keep. Very patient and helpful staff who always remembers us even though we are in only a couple of times a year. Thumbs up Weirdgirls~
