Our experience with BECC has been excellent from day one. Our twin boys look forward to their school days, and we enjoy watching them develop with the guidance and support of their teachers and the wonderful curriculum they have developed.
The group size is perfect. Not too small, and not too large. The staff/child ratio is lower than regulations require, so children get plenty of attention from teachers, and they have opportunities to develop nice friendships with all of the boys and girls in their group.
We love that the school is play-based, and children at BECC play with a purpose. Each day has learning objectives, and the teachers manage to weave the learning into the fun activities planned for the day.
The facility itself is wonderful, and the playground is the best I have seen at any preschool in the Barrington area.
My husband and I highly recommend BECC!

Our daughter started last year at BECC and we are very happy with the experience she is having there. The most unique feature of the school in my opinion is the observation booth that enables you to observe your child’s class(without the child or even teachers knowing you’re there)at any time. The sense there is that the staff is very comfortable letting you see what your child is doing on any given day. Every observation I have done has lead me to believe that the lessons are well planned, age-appropriate, and fun for the kids. The children engage in a variety of learning-through-play activities, and there is a healthy balance of both structure and choice for them. Overall, I would recommend BECC to any parent who is looking for an environment that is completely transparent about what is being taught, that is comprehensive in its curriculum, and that is a very fun place for kids to spend an afternoon or morning.
