We went to this playground earlier this week and I privately re-named it “The Park of Yell-y Teenagers”. Although the little climbing structure is a great size for younger kids, the swings were filled with boisterous teenagers screaming curse words and being, well, teenagers. Also, the soccer field was ankle-deep in mud and water.
There is a large sandpit area that my two and five year-old loved. I’d suggest bringing sand toys and hitting up the sandpit, or taking the short walk down to the nearby beach to flip rocks and find crabs, snails, and other little sea creatures.
I think after Memorial Day, you either have to be a Bristol resident or pay a fee to enter the park.
