Kids College holds art and music programs for children in all grades. Recent offerings include Fun with Musical Instruments, Kids College Chorus, Cartooning and Creative Capers, Math & Science, Computers, Acting, etc. Students can attend for half-day (9:00am to 11:00am or 11:45am to 1:45pm) or a full day (9:00am to 1:45pm). Students that choose to attend the full day session must also bring a lunch.

description: Music Together is a researched base music program for children newborn through age five and their parents or caregivers. East Bay Music Together classes meet for 45 minutes each week for ten (Fall), ten (Winter and Spring), or six (Summer), weeks. description: Mallet Maniacs Community Percussion Ensemble is looking for students 5th -12th grade who are interested in playing percussion in a group affiliated with schools from the local area. description: Music for Children is an early childhood arts program with a multi-sensory, thematic, and age-appropriate curriculum that is designed to grow with your child, with classes for Toddlers, Twos, Threes, Fours, Fives and Sixes. Unlike traditional music classes, Music for Children does not “isolate” the music, but nurtures total musicianship by incorporating imaginary play, creative drama, dance and art into every class. There’s live guitar, banjo and piano each week, plus hundreds of instruments to play.
Mary Ann Hall has been building on her curriculum since 1971 and has received honors and “5 star” ratings across the country. Her former student Lindsay Meehan brings Music for Children to Providence in January, 2011.

Music Together is an early childhood music and movement class for children birth-kindergarten and the adults who love them! Music Together is a wonderful nonformal program and is meant to teach families ways to have fun with music while learning tone and rhythm in an easygoing environment. The Music Together classes also encourage and teach ways of being musical at home. All this combines to gives children a strong musical foundation and a love of music for life. The classes are 45 minutes long and the semester is ten weeks in length with make-up classes available. Included in the tuition are an illustrated songbook, 2 CDs, a parent information booklet, and other reading materials. There are three 10-week semesters, Fall, Winter, and Spring. There is also a shorter Summer session that is 8 weeks long. Free sample class available. I look forward to making Music Together with your family!
