Sample New Music!

[ 1 ] May 4, 2007 |

BordersA favorite trip for my kids is to browse the local music stores like Borders or f.y.e (formerly Strawberries). Pick a CD, put on the headphones and scan the barcode at any of the headphone stands, pick your favorite song and jam! Sometimes we also navigate the iTunes store and listen to the 30-second samples. Before you drop money on music that you aren’t sure you and the kids will love, these are great ways to sample music or check out some old favorites – for free!

The Borders at Providence Place Mall was holding Tuesday morning storytimes for 0-3 year olds. Not sure if it’s still going on, but still it’s a great place to bring your little one when it’s raining – they can run up and down the aisles of the baby section and there are also bins of stuffed animals. The staff is very sweet!
