For the second time this week, it looks like schools will open late. On Wednesday. Jan. 7th, the forecasters say…snow and ice are on the way. We collected a list of resources for school and business closings.

I learn about closings via Turn to 10, either online or T.V. I feel that most of the time, schools are closed when maybe only a delay is necessary. However, I feel that the school most likely feel pressure as a delay can sometimes cause more child care issues than a closing (go into work an hour late or drop at Grandma’s for the entire day?)
