Seattle Pacific University seeking parents for study of parenting during COVID-19

Please note – Kidoinfo received the below request for parents to take a survey on parenting during COVID-19. We have not assessed the survey ourselves so always make sure you do not give away personal information such as social security number, parent’s maiden names, and other information that would identify you or your children too closely.

College student Caitlin Deonier, a psychology student at Seattle Pacific University who is working in a Child and Adolescent research lab supervised by Dr. Jenny Vaydich. The lab is currently looking for parents or caregivers to share with them their parenting experiences during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Their lab wants to understand the different challenges that parents, and caregivers are currently facing in hopes of finding ways to support not just them, but also their child’s development through the pandemic. Their goal is to include as many parents and caregivers as possible that come from various areas, backgrounds, and experiences which is why this is a nationwide study.

They  invite parents or caregivers that are 21+ or older with at least 1 child aged 0-18 years old. Those who are interested in participating must live in the United States, be fluent (or comfortable) in English, and have access to the internet. There are 2 different ways to participate in this study one is an online survey and the other is an online interview. Both options guarantee that all participants’ data and information will remain completely confidential. More details about the study and participation can be found on the attached flyer.
