InDowncity kicks off the holiday season with its annual Celebrate Downcity neighborhood holiday block party featuring free photos with Santa on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019.
This family friendly event takes place from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Westminster Street, between Dorrance and Union streets.
Get a head start on holiday shopping while supporting local shops on Small Business Saturday! Browse Westminster Street’s unique apparel, jewelry, books, records, vintage and handmade goods, holiday decorations and more, in a festive environment.
Take a break from shopping and enjoy kids’ activities with Providence Children’s Museum. New this year: snap selfies in six color-themed photobooths, each designed with a unique holiday motif.
Street food vendors include Jaju Pierogi, Jeff’s Wood Fired Pizza, The Burgundian Coffee & Waffles, and Binge BBQ. The Eddy, Kleos, Small Point Cafe, and Little Bitte Artisanal Cocktails will be serving up a variety of cocktails and hot beverages for both kids and adults.
