Child’s Play is still accepting applications for the 2012-13 school year. They currently have 2 spaces in the Nursery Program and 3 spaces in the Preschool Program for the 2012-2013 school year. Students must be 3 years old (nursery) and 4 years old (preschool) by September 1.
Child’s Play is a parent – teacher cooperative school located on the East Side of Providence. With Toddler, Nursery and Pre-School programs, the curriculum is structured around the philosophy that children learn best through play.
They have experienced staff that provides a safe, supportive and nurturing classroom for the children. Small class sizes with 5:1 ratio and an exceptional facility with large, bright rooms and full indoor and outdoor play areas ensures that each child receives a rich, fostering learning environment in their early, formative years.
My boys spent two years at Child’s Play in the Nursery and the Pre-school class. Our family still feels very much a part of the Child’s Play community – the strong friendships we formed during our two years have carried on and the skills we developed working together with parents and teachers have benefited my sons’ elementary school. Child’s Play is a parent-teacher cooperative school, where everyone works together to make the school a stimulating learning environment for the children. As a parent, it’s a great place to meet other parents and work with the outstanding Child’s Play teachers.
