Summer Poem

Today I want to share this lovely poem written by young girl named Beatrice.

by Beatrice McConville, Age 9

excited waves run happily
to meet your feet

hot sandy wet cool
fish energetically swim
confused boats swim
confident surfers
rush out to meet up on
shore with tide relaxed
people sleepily sleep excited
children make castles
cranky crabs crawl
to the surface a tired beach
sleeps in the night so it can
happily stay awake for
tomorrow . . . .
