Grammy award winner Bill Harley uses stories and song to capture his experiences and his imagination in a way that gets to the essence of growing up. His hilarious tales and catchy tunes appeal to both kids and adults of all ages–my kids are captivated by his engaging characters and their adventures, and I am fondly reminded of my childhood along with the realities of being a parent.
Over the years my children and I have spent many hours by the CD player at home or in the car laughing out loud thanks to Bill. Now with his latest collection, Yes to Running! Bill Harley Live, we can laugh along with the audience. This set includes two CDs and one DVD, recorded before an all-ages audience at the University of Montana (originally produced for Montana Public Television). The DVD also includes a bonus documentary and a behind-the-scenes interview with Harley.
For people who know Bill Harley (and are lucky enough to have seen him perform in person), they will love Yes to Running! It’s like inviting your best friend over to play. There are familiar favorite songs like “I like to Sing” and “You’re in Trouble” along with beloved stories like “The Ballad of Dirty Joe.” My boy’s personal favorite tales are “Mom and the Radio” and “The Teachers Lounge.” If this is your first introduction to Bill Harley, you will enjoy getting to see and hear him perform, and it won’t be long before he becomes a cherished friend in your home as well.
As a parent who enjoys storytelling as much as my children do, I applaud and admire Bill’s flair for telling tales and his ability to always sound (and sometimes look) like the people in his stories. I believe over the years, my family and I have improved our own storytelling skills and had a lot of laughs in the meantime. Thanks Bill.

More like Keith Munslow, in fact they sometimes perform together. Cannot comment on Rafi – I only know his Baby Beluga song, never heard anything else by him.
so is he like keith munslow? or more like rafi? i do not know this man’s work. he sounds great!
