Children entering grades 2 through 12 are invited to audition for the
award-winning Rhode Island Children’s Chorus! Our 17th season begins in
September 2019. Auditions for the RICC choirs are private and are a
positive, encouraging experience. Each evaluation takes 3-5 minutes, and
you may come in at any time during the sessions listed below. No appointment is needed.
Saturday, August 3 from 10:30am to Noon at RI Philharmonic Carter Center, 667 Waterman Ave., East Providence, RI – All levels, grades 2-12.
Tuesday, August 6 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church,
99 Peirce St., East Greenwich, RI – All levels, grades 2-12.
Specifics:
Students going into grades 2 through 12 are invited to meet with
Artistic Director Dr. Christine Noel for a brief interview and vocal
evaluation. Students may audition at either location but will specify
your preferred rehearsal location (East Providence or East Greenwich).
Note that the High School Honor Choir rehearses only in East Providence.

You’re Invited… To an End-of-Summer Family Music Picnic and Sing-Along in the Park!
WHEN and WHERE: Sunday, September 8th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Goddard Memorial Park in East Greenwich.
Our picnic sites are #12 and #13. Just enter the MAIN park entrance and a little ways up take a left onto a little dirt road and we are down at the end on the right. (Look for my turquoise green Toyota Corolla. Park anywhere on the grass (it is allowed!) and of course be aware of any children running about!)
SPECIAL NOTE: The site I reserved is for us for the whole day. Please feel free to come early or stay late!
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring your own picnic and drink and everything you need to eat, sunscreen, insect repellent, blankets and chairs, frisbees, balls and bats etc.
THIS IS A GREEN EVENT. Please consider bringing your food and drinks in washable/reusable containers along with plates, cups, silverware to take home to wash. I am passionate about the environment and creating as little waste as possible for the world that your children and my grandchildren will inherit. I will bring 2 small receptacles – for recycling and garbage. Hope there will be very little of each. So – there is your ECO-CHALLENGE! Thank you!
*Also feel free to bring along a rhythm instrument for yourselves and your kids to play.
I will bring my guitar and some egg shakers to share. I will have a clipboard with some of the most popular Music Together songs and other known kid songs and traditional songs from our culture to circulate and you can call out your requests to me.
WHO IS INVITED: All current, former, and future students are invited to share a couple of hours of old-fashioned fun in the park.
So, come out with all of your family and friends!
BRING-A-FRIEND RAFFLE: Bring a friend with babies, toddlers and preschoolers along to the picnic and you will both be entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift certificate towards a semester of Music Together.
You’ll get one entry for each friend you bring. So, be sure to let all of your friends with babies, toddlers and preschoolers know about the picnic!
*All families who have never attended a semester of Sing With B Music Together can enter (no referral needed!)
*REGISTRATION GIFT: Any NEW FAMILY who registers during the picnic will receive a gift of my lullaby CD “We See the Moon” to take home and enjoy.
*DOOR PRIZES: I will be giving away some little music gifts. Make sure you leave one door prize ticket in the jar and keep the other half.

The International Coastal Cleanup brings more than 2,000 Rhode lsland volunteers together to pick up marine trash from more than 65 miles of beautiful Ocean State shoreline, from the upper Providence River all the way to Block Island. The event is part of a global effort that involves 500,000 volunteers cleaning up beaches around the world. Save The Bay needs cleanup volunteers and beach captains to lead cleanups at each site. This is a great way to get outside, enjoy our beautiful beaches, and do something great in the community. Bring a friend, a whole family, a sports team, or even just yourself.

Don’t miss Baby Shark Live! coming to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center Providence on Sunday, May 24, 2020!
Take an adventure into the sea with Baby Shark as he joins up with his friend Pinkfong to sing and dance through some of your favorite new and classic songs! Baby Shark Live! is a state of the art enchanting kids spectacular .
In this one of a kind concert experience young fans will be dancing in the aisles as Baby Shark and friends, go on fun adventures to learn and meet new friends! Some of the hit songs include, Baby Shark, Five Little Monkeys, Wheels On The Bus, Jungle Boogie, and Monkey Banana Dance!
